Must Have Costuming Book
This book is really great and a must have for theatre directors who need patterns for costuming. It begins with Ancient Egypt and continues through the early 1900's with information on details such as trims and special costume pieces. The patterns are easy to use - I gave some of them to my high school drama students and they were able to make costumes for a Greek tragedy with limited help from me. This book is comprised of pictures and patterns - not text. I like the hands on information and the ease of use. I would recommend this for drama teachers and costumers, particularly those working with school age children.

This book has a lot of amazing costume patterns. You have to have a little sewing knowledge to use them. I look forward to putting it to use in my newest passion, Cosplay Costumes.
